Pre-loved treasures, rooftop cocktails and a very good reason to rethink your next purchase. Melbourne Fashion Week is taking the party upstairs, and this one's got a conscience.
There's something infinitely cooler about a really good secondhand find. The vintage jacket nobody else has, a silk shirt with a previous life, something you found for $30 that looks like it belongs in a much more expensive wardrobe.
And this Melbourne Fashion Week, we're making an evening of it.
On Wednesday 21 October, Good Heavens is teaming up with Melbourne not-for-profit Ready Set for Above It All, a rooftop takeover celebrating great style, good drinks and giving clothes another life.
The plan? Browse a curated edit of pre-loved fashion, compare vintage finds during a Fashion Show and Tell, discover your colours with stylist Coral Carretero and enjoy a little rooftop dancing with DJ Ali.
Tickets are $60, including an 1800 Tequila welcome cocktail, light bites and entry into a rather lovely prize draw featuring Henne, Relic Jewellery and more.
Even better, $10 from every ticket supports Ready Set, helping Victorians prepare for employment through clothing, coaching and connections.
Good style with something good behind it. Very into that.
